Ajax considering re-signing Antony from United
Ajax are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing winger Antony back from Manchester United, according to De Telegraaf.
Discussions are said to be taking place within Ajax's hierarchy regarding the potential move, though there are concerns about the 24-year-old's mentality following a challenging spell at Old Trafford. Recent reports suggest Manchester United may be open to sending Antony out on loan in the upcoming January transfer window, possibly paving the way for Ajax to re-sign the Brazilian winger.
Arteta urged to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid
Former Gunners and France star Emmanuel Petit has urged Mikel Arteta to sign Rodrygo, who he claims is being "overshadowed" at Real Madrid. Speaking to Genting Casino, the 54-year-old said: "He has so much quality and I have always said he will be such a great player for them. If they cannot sign Williams, Arsenal need to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid as he’s so underrated and gets overshadowed by Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. He reminds me a bit of Sylvain Wiltord when I was at Arsenal. I really think he would be a star at the Emirates and be an amazing player who can play across all three positions across the front line.
"I know he was asked about Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. the other day and he responded: 'I am Rodrygo, look at what I did last season?' This guy is so underrated and perhaps he feels like he is being overshadowed at Real Madrid. In any case, he could be an absolute superstar for Arsenal and I rate him very much. He scores goals, gives assists and gives great energy on the pitch."
Palace eyeing replacements for Glasner
Crystal Palace are reportedly exploring managerial options as chairman Steve Parish considers replacing current boss Oliver Glasner.
According to TBR Football, former West Ham United manager David Moyes, who was dismissed by the club last summer, is among the names being considered along with former Chelsea coach Graham Potter.
Johnson wants Liverpool to cash in on Trent
In an interview with Betfred, former England and Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson has urged Arne Slot to cash in on Trent Alexander-Arnold in January if Real Madrid offer a sizable amount.
Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, with Los Blancos being the favourites to secure the signature of the English defender.
