Liverpool told Dortmund's asking price for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens
Liverpool have been told they will have to pay €100 million to sign a Borussia Dortmund star as a potential Mohamed Salah replacement.
The Reds have been on the lookout for a new winger if the 32-year-old moves to pastures new, and now Bild claims they are keeping tabs on Dortmund ace Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The report states they are interested in the England Under 21 international and are prepared to make a 'strong offer' for the 20-year-old but the German giants will demand £83m ($108m) for his services.
Man Utd's Zirkzee considering return to Italy
Manchester United summer signing Joshua Zirkzee is allegedly ready to return to Italy during the January transfer window.
Just over three months after joining the 20-time English champions, Zirkzee is already being linked to a possible exit due to his inability to reach his best form. According to reports earlier this month, Zirkzee might be signed by Juventus in a trade that would send Dusan Vlahovic in the other direction.
Barcelona targeting two Chelsea midfielders
Barcelona sporting director and former Chelsea midfielder Deco is apparently keen to bring two of the Blues current players to Camp Nou.
Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka are allegedly under the ex-Portugal international's control; the Blaugrana were given the opportunity to recruit Chukwuemeka on loan over the summer. Deco allegedly thought he would be able to recruit Lavia on loan in 2023 before a heated bidding war broke out between Chelsea and Liverpool, but the Barca manager still has Chukwuemeka and the Belgian on his radar.
Liverpool identify Dortmund's Schlotterbeck as Van Dijk successor
Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Borussia Dortmund centre-back amid the uncertainty over Virgil van Dijk's Anfield future.
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are interested in Dortmund defender Schlotterbeck if Van Dijk does not extend his contract. The report adds the Reds are prepared to pay around €50 million (£42m/$54m) for the 24-year-old next summer.
Van Dijk admits his Anfield future is uncertain
In a chat with The Athletic, Liverpool's star defender Virgil van Dijk confirmed that his representatives are in talks with Liverpool over a new contract, however, he continued to remain tight-lipped on his future.
The Dutch defender's current deal expires in June 2025 which means he will become a free agent at the end of the current campaign if he does not put pen to paper on a fresh deal.
Sporting official opens up on Arsenal & Liverpool-linked Gyokeres' future
Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas opened up on whether Arsenal and Liverpool-linked Viktor Gyokeres will leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Speaking to reporters, Varandas said, "It’s very, very difficult. Impossible is nothing in life so I can’t say that… but I’d say very, very difficult and complicated."

Per Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich remain hopeful that their star player Jamal Musial will soon put pen to paper on a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2029 or 2030. The German international's current deal with the Bavarian club expires in 2026.

Per Fabrizio Romano, Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi is very close to putting pen to paper on a new Paris Saint-Germain contract that will extend his stay at the club beyond June 2026.
Both parties have an agreement on the player's salary and the extent of the new deal and the formalities will be completed soon.
