Sean Dyche is under increasing pressure following Everton's dismal start to the campaign.

The full-time boos told a story of their own. Leading 2-0 with less than 10 minutes to play, the despondent Goodison Park faithful were left in disbelief as Everton slumped to a 3-2 defeat.

It means the Toffees head into the international break winless and pointless from their opening three matches, with Dyche having been left in a sticky position.

His side have shipped an astonishing 10 goals in the league so far this term, with their only win of any kind coming against League Two Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup.

As the pressure mounts on the ex-Burnley chief, Express Sport detail four managerial options that could be ushered into replace him.

It's been quite the week for reunions, and maybe, as far as Everton are concerned, it's former manager David Moyes who's going to be the one that saves them.

The Scot enjoyed a stellar 11 years with the Merseyside outfit, before leaving Goodison Park to join Manchester United following countryman Sir Alex Ferguson's resignation.

Moyes was parachuted in mid-season to save West Ham United from a relegation battle and on the back of a winless start to the campaign, it looks like they'll once again be involved in a battle at the bottom.

Graham Potter

Everton need someone to shake a wand and make things better, so who is more suited than Graham Potter?

The managerial wizard worked wonders during his time with Brighton & Hove Albion, and while his Chelsea spell was nowhere near as successful, Potter remains one of the most promising coaches in the country.

Despite their woes, Everton do have plenty of talent in their side and Potter might just be the tactician they need to get the most out of it all.

Carlos Corberan

Criticisms around Everton's transfer business have - for some - focused on their reluctance to dip into the Championship and snatch the best upcoming talent from England's second tier. They could amend that error by luring arguably the Championship's best manager to the club instead.

Carlos Corberan has impressed ever since he took to the hot seat at West Bromwich Albion in 2022 and even attracted Premier League interest when Leeds United were on the lookout for a Jesse Marsch replacement two seasons ago.

But it only feels like a matter of time before the Spanish coach is managing in the Premier League. What's to say that's not with Everton?

Ruben Amorim

Sometimes you've got to dream big and there would be few bigger - or better - appointments than Ruben Amorim for Everton right now.

While the chances look slim, given the 39-year-old has been open about how content he is managing Sporting CP in Portugal, Everton could pitch themselves as the perfect stepping stone for Amorim to come to England.

It almost certainly wouldn't be a long-term option, but if Amorim is able to steady the sinking ship at Goodison Park, there's little more the Evertonians could ask for.
