Bayern no longer interested in signing Tah
Per Kicker, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are no longer interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen and Germany defender Jonathan Tah this summer despite an earlier agreement.
The Bavarian club were linked with a move for the German national team defender for a long time and he was reported to be eager to make the move, even deciding against committing to a new deal with Leverkusen.
Liverpool determined to sign Zubimendi
Per Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool remain keen on signing Spain and Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi this summer. The player too is keen on making the move to Merseyside. However, it remains unclear whether the Reds will have to trigger the player's €60m release clause.

Flick wants to sign Coman from Bayern
Per Sky Sports, Barcelona may turn to Kingsley Coman if they miss out on signing Nico Williams - with Bayern Munich offering the winger to the Catalan side. Manager Hansi Flick, who earlier managed the winger at the Bavarian club, is known to be an admirer of the player.
Chelsea set to sign goalkeeper Penders from Genk
After signing Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal earlier this summer, Premier League giants Chelsea are all set to add one more custodian to their ranks as they close in on signing Mike Penders from Genk, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues will pay €20m plus add-ons as transfer fee, however, the player will stay back at Genk for one more season on loan before moving to London in the summer of 2025.
Fiorentina close to signing De Gea
Per Fabrizio Romano, former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is close to joining Serie A side Fiorentina this summer. The player, who has been a free agent for over a year, is set to earn €3m per season after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option to extend it.
Watford sign Almeida from Fluminense
Championship Watford FC have roped in 19-year-old defender Kayky Almeida from Brazilian top division side Fluminense, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The official statement from the English side read, "Watford FC confirms that teenage defender Kayky Almeida has joined from Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Fluminense. The 19-year-old becomes the Hornets’ seventh signing during the summer 2024 transfer window. Young Brazilian Almeida has put pen to paper on a contract until 2029. The left-sided centre-back will be eligible to join Tom Cleverley’s squad from the Stoke City August 17 home matchday onwards. Welcome to Watford, Kayky!"
Richarlison rejects Saudi Pro League move
Tottenham and Brazil star Richarlison has confirmed that he won't be moving to the Saudi Pro League this summer amid interests from Al-Hilal and Al-Ahly.
Speaking to ESPN, the former Everton player said, "There has been an offer but my dream of playing for the Brazilian Selecao and in the Premier League speaks louder. The money is big but my dreams are bigger."
