Teenage starlet Mikey Moore, 16, has reportedly agreed to sign a professional contract with Tottenham later this week.
The forward has been one of Spurs’ breakout stars in pre-season and may have give Ange Postecoglou something to think about heading into the 2024/25 campaign as the Aussie looks to assess his options in the final third.
Moore became the youngest player to make a Premier League appearances for Tottenham in May when coming on as a substitute in Spurs’ 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City. He has since been involved with the first-team and made several appearances during his side’s pre-season tour of Asia.
According to The Athletic, Moore has now agreed to pen his first professional deal with Tottenham on Sunday when he turns 17.
He will sign a three-year deal with the north London outfit, which is the longest deal that a player under the age of 18 is allowed to sign due to FIFA regulations.
Though it is not only the contract length which indicates the sheer level of trust that Tottenham have in the ability of the England Under-17 international.

Moore has also reportedly been offered a bigger salary than Spurs have ever proposed to a player before they have turned 17 in the hope of fending off interest from other clubs - highlighting that the higher powers at the club have recognised his level of talent.
The playmaker highlighted what he has to offer in the Premier League next season by scoring three goals in pre-season, bagging against Scottish side Hearts, Vissel Kobe and a Japanese youth team.
Postecoglou heaped the praise on Moore following his side’s victory over Vissel Kobe by revealing that the teen has shown that he warrants consideration as a first-team player heading into the upcoming campaign.
He explained: “Mikey has been fantastic since we brought him in. He’s earned his spot on the roster at the moment, he did at the end of last year.
“He got a run with the first team because we could see in training that he was handling himself really well and that’s followed through into pre-season training. All we can do is keep allowing him to develop. We have to remember that last year he had some injuries and he is only 16, but yeah, super exciting.”
