The summer window enters its final full week before the new Premier League season begins, and the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are all expected to conclude business before the campaign gets underway. The Gunners remain in talks over a move for Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino and have been linked with Man City star Julian Alvarez.
Chelsea should finally announce the arrival of Aaron Anselmino and remain in talks with Victor Osimhen, as Conor Gallagher weighs up a move to Atletico Madrid. Manchester United want to sign both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich, but need to shift Aaron Wan-Bissaka first, while the club are said to have given up on Manuel Ugarte.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in Dominic Solanke, amid further links with Jonathan David, Pedro Netro and Eberechi Eze, as Emerson Royal heads for the exit. Liverpool are still looking for the first signing of the Arne Slot era. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!
Tottenham valuation of Cristian Romero revealed
Tottenham are said to have demanded £150m for Cristian Romero.
The centre-back has become a key man at the back for Spurs, and has been a vice-captain since Ange Postecoglou's arrival in north London.
Paul O'Keefe claims that Real Madrid enquired about Romero earlier this year, and were told only that huge sum would leave Spurs considering a sale.
Man United give up on Manuel Ugarte
Manchester United are exploring other targets, after accepting defeat in their pursuit of Manuel Ugarte.
According to The Athletic, United are refusing to meet PSG's £51m valuation, and no progress has been made in talks between the two clubs.
Other targets are now being looked at, but United could return to Ugarte if PSG's stance softens.
Newcastle close in on Marc Guehi
Newcastle are increasingly confident of wrapping up a deal to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The Telegraph report that a deal could be completed before the end of the week, with a fee in excess of £60m set to be agreed.
Talks are ongoing, but it is expected than an agreement will be finalised in the coming day.
Dani Olmo pushing for Barcelona transfer
It's a key week in the future of Dani Olmo.
The Spanish winger is said by Mundo Deportivo to be heading back to Leipzig today ahead of his pre-season beginning on Thursday, with agent Andy Bara in tow.
Barcelona have offered £43m up front with £2.5m in add-ons based on appearances and a further £8.5m if they win LaLiga or the Champions League in the next six years.
RB Leipzig are yet to give a definitive verdict on the bid, with talks also focused on the payment structure as only £21.5m would arrive this summer.
Olmo is reportedly keen to leave for the Spanish giants, amid rival interest from Man City, and wants a speedy resolution.
Ex-Man Utd star in Serie A talks
David De Gea could finally find a new club in time for the upcoming season.
Serie A side Fiorentina are hopeful of signing the ex-Manchester United goalkeeper, who has been out of action for a year now.
La Nazione report on both player and club being open to a deal but De Gea's hefty wage demands are a possible stumbling block.

Niclas Fullkrug has joined West Ham in a £27million move from Borussia Dortmund.
Liverpool reject Fabio Carvalho bid
Liverpool have rebuffed a £15m bid from Southampton for Fabio Carvalho.
The 21-year-old winger has been a key player for Arne Slot in the early weeks of pre-season after loan spells away from Anfield last season.
The BBC say Liverpool want a bigger sum to sanction Carvalho's sale, with Southampton said to be long-term admirers.
A number of the Reds' top attackers return this week from extended summer breaks, which could lead to Carvalho either being elevated into a genuine senior position or pushed out from the first-team fold.
Atletico Madrid to beat Arsenal for Julian Alvarez
Man City striker Julian Alvarez is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid.
The LaLiga side have a near-agreement with City over the Argentine striker, according to The Athletic, with just a final price and payment structure left to seal.
Personal terms are said to be no problem for Alvarez, who reportedly wants the move.
The deal could help Chelsea's pursuit of Samu Omorodion, the Atletico striker who the Spaniards have been previously not too keen to sell.
Alfie Gilchrist agrees loan exit
Chelsea defender Alfie GIlchirst will join Sheffield United on loan.
That's according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports on a medical taking place tomorrow ahead of a move to the Championship side.
The Blues left Gilchrist out of their USA pre-season tour to ensure he finds a loan move this summer.
