It's safe to say life is pretty good right now for RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo.

On Friday afternoon, Spain fans were left distraught when they watched as Pedri was forced off against Germany at Euro 2024 following a late challenge from Toni Kroos, which led to Olmo replacing the Barcelona ace.

And it was a substitution by manager Luis de la Fuente that paid dividends on 51 minutes for Spain, when Olmo got onto the end of a ball into the box from teenager Lamine Yamal to fire home first time past Manuel Neuer, giving his side a 1-0 lead.

While Germany managed to score a late equaliser through Florian Wirtz, it was Spain who went on to win the game in extra-time, with Olmo guiding a cross into the path of Mikel Merino, with the former Newcastle midfielder heading home past Neuer. Spain will now take on France for a place in the final.

And it looks as though the Spain star is also winning off the pitch too, thanks in part to his German social media model girlfriend Laura Abla Schmitt, who will have been left with mixed feelings following Olmo's fine performance.

The stunning German model has 270,000 followers on TikTok where she regularly uploads vlog-style videos that have seen her rack up 25.9 million likes on the platform.

On her Instagram, the 26-year-old has 161,000 followers and the content she uploads there is a bit different to her TikTok output. Over on Instagram, she regularly posts photos of her in various stylish outfits from all over Europe.

However, she also is keen to ensure that her content doesn't veer too much into the footballing world, despite her famous Spanish international beau. "My reels are never about football, it's about me or my boyfriend," explained Schmitt.

"I don't say anything about football, that's not my place. I know far too little about that. I don't say anything about clubs, I don't do any analysis. I do it for myself, for entertainment.

"I can't take myself seriously in that environment. Everyone tells me: you're a player's wife. I don't see it that way myself. I make fun of it."
