Prem star praises stunning Ecuador fan who stripped to tiny bikini before Copa America game

Brighton & Hove Albion star Jeremy Sarmiento found the time to thank a scantily-clad Ecuador fan for her support during the nation's participation in the Copa America this summer

Premier League ace Jeremy Sarmiento made sure to shout out a bikini-wearing Ecuador fan at the Copa America.

The Brighton & Hove Albion winger is competing in his second major tournament for Ecuador this summer, following his participation in the 2022 World Cup.

The 22-year-old netted his nation's first goal of the competition in their 2-1 defeat to Venezuela but bounced back in their second group game to beat Jamaica 3-1 and put them second in Group B with one game to go.

A day before their final group clash against Mexico where a win would see them progress to the knockout stages, a bikini-wearing Ecuador fan was spotted outside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and a video of the gorgeous supporter was posted by Sarmiento on X where he thanked her for the support as he wrote: "Really appreciate all of the support from our fans out at the Copa America".

Sporting an Ecuador-themed bikini with fishnet tights and football socks, the post on the social media platform quickly went viral and has been seen over 3.1million times.

Sarmiento's shout-out to the mystery beauty certainly surprised fans with some online failing to believe it was actually him giving thanks with one fan posting: "Thought this was a parody account" while a second added: "How have I only just seen this, fair enough. He's one of us".

The Prem star certainly has a loyal following with many of his fans attempting to big him up with outlandish claims with one saying: "Jeremy mate, thanks for the Lamborghini and for saving me from being mugged by single-handedly fighting off ten men! Appreciate you!"

After leaving Brighton on loan last summer, Sarmiento spent six months with West Brom before joining Ipswich Town in January where he netted four goals in 22 games as he secured promotion to the Premier League with Kieran McKenna's side.
