Goldbridge, real name Brent Di Cesare, was Beta Squad boss in the 6-6 thriller at a sold out Selhurst Park.

The two YouTube teams gathered at Crystal Palace's home on Sunday for an eagerly-anticipated clash.

And it was all going well for Goldbridge, with his side 5-2 up in the second half.

However, after seeing his side concede from a corner, the enraged boss headed straight for the tunnel in disgust.

Fans watching on loved the move, with some hoping Gareth Southgate was watching ahead of the Euros.

One observer on social media said: “I think he's absolutely disgusted by the way his team has defended. That's unbelievable.”

Another declared: “Southgate better take notes.”

One noted: “Went off angry.”

Another added: “My manager.”

When he reemerged, Goldbridge was wearing full kit and ready to take matters into his own hands.

It backfired almost immediately, however, as a blitzkrieg of goals saw AMP draw level.

The AMP side were boosted by the presence of a mysterious masked player who had reportedly played in the Premier League and Champions League.

Former Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge even came off the bench.

And Goldbridge was unable to deal with the pair as both found the scoresheet.

Goldbridge's managerial stint culminated in more disappointment, as the match was unfortunately called off at 6-6, before a penalty shootout could decide the victor.

Hundreds of fans flooded the field in the dying moments, forcing players to abandon their posts and retreat to the dressing room.
