The charity match saw all proceeds raised go to The Water Project.

They provide clean water to villages in the African sub-Sahara.

And fans flocked to witness stars like Mark Goldbridge in action.

Big names including Chunkz and King Kenny flew the flag for Beta Squad.

The likes of Druski and Kai Cenat turned out for AMP.

However, there was one shock on the field.

The mystery player turned up to the game wearing a mask to conceal his identity.

But he has reportedly played in both the Premier League and Champions League.

As such, the mystery man appeared to be head and shoulders above the rest as he put on the shirt of AMP.

Fans were certainly curious about his identity.

One said: “Bro who is wearing the mask?”

Another declared: “Who is the mystery player?”

One noted: “Who the hell is walking around with a mask on?”

Another added: “Who is this damn mystery player?”

Making a strong start to the game, the mystery player unselfishly laid the ball off to Eman when AMP equalised to make it 1-1 in the 14th minute.

He then went on to score in the 38th minute, again drawing AMP back level at 2-2.

But interestingly, the mystery player remained on the pitch while also keeping his mask on.

Unfortunately for his team, AMP went 4-2 down early in the second half.

And if he didn't have a mask on, the mystery player will have been left looking red-faced after scoring an own-goal for 5-2.

But moments after AMP pulled one back, the masked man scored his second of the game to make it 5-4.

And it proved to be his last bit of action, with the mystery player subbed off in the 76th minute.

AMP did manage to level it up with just 10 minutes to go.

However, Beta Squad regained the lead for 6-5 almost instantly.

And it appeared AMP were on the brink of defeat.

But super sub Daniel Sturridge came off the bench to net an equaliser at the death.

The game was then set for a penalty shootout to decide the victor.

Unfortunately, a pitch invasion minutes from the end of the game saw the match called off.
