Agent U-turn as Modric closer to Real Madrid agreement

The agent of Luka Modric is growing confident of a new contract being secured with Real Madrid.

Last week, Modric's agent, Vladica 'Vlado' Lemic, assured that "so far there is nothing clear about Modric's future with Real Madrid", but after a few days of conversations his position has changed.

In statements to Arab media Kooora, Lemic now "anticipates" his renewal with Madrid.

"The most likely thing is that he will stay one more year and continue writing history," says Lemic.

"Real Madrid is the best club in the world and is led by the best president in the history of football. LuKa Modric is a Real Madrid fan who loves the club and considers it his home," insists Lemic, making the player's intention clear.
