Man Utd Wags 'face having to pay for their own Wembley trips to cheer on their men in FA Cup final against City'

MANCHESTER UNITED Wags are facing having to pay for their own FA Cup final tickets, according to reports.

Erik ten Hag's side are set to take on Manchester City under the Wembley arch on May 25.

For big games in the past, the Red Devils have laid on lavish travel, accommodation and even parties for players' partners and family members.

But according to the Mirror, that is now changing under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The 72-year-old is determined to cut costs at Old Trafford, having recently vowed to "spend the club’s money effectively" in a company-wide email.

There are now fears that Ratcliffe is set to introduce a period of "austerity" at United amid a net debt of £710million.

Although the club did recently lay on a luxury day out complete with Harvey Nichols goody bags for Wags.

Man Utd's 1,100 members of staff will each receive a complimentary ticket each for the FA Cup final.

But they will be expected to contribute £20 towards coach travel.

United's Wags, meanwhile, will have to pay for their own tickets and travel to Wembley.

Many of them will have loyally watched their partners at many matches this season.

Former skipper Harry Maguire will likely need to sort at least eight tickets; catering for his wife Fern, parents Alan and Zoe, brothers Laurence and Joe, and kids Lillie Saint and Piper Rose.

Luke Shaw is hoping to return from injury to play at Wembley, and will want to be backed by girlfriend Anouska Santos.

Casemiro's wife Anna Mariana will look to back her man, while Bruno Fernandes' Ana Pinho is the Portuguese's biggest fan.

Victor Lindelof's wife Maja will hope that the Swede can make a push to feature.

And Lisandro Martinez's partner Muri Lopez will want to witness another victorious final, having watched her man win the World Cup in Qatar.

Jonny Evans' wife Helen McConnell will likely be in attendance at what could be the final match of her man's career.

While Marcus Rashford has recently been getting close to Erica Correa, and could invite the Colombian model to the final.

Mason Mount, meanwhile, has been dating Essex-born influencer Freya Tidy, 21.

And Scott McTominay, who captained Man Utd against Arsenal last Sunday, will be backed by girlfriend Cam Reading.
