'I have no doubt!' - Erik ten Hag comes out swinging as he insists he is the man to turn Manchester United around after Arsenal defeat

Erik ten Hag insists he has "no doubt" he can turn Manchester United's fortunes around despite losing their 14th game of the Premier League season.
WHAT HAPPENED?
United's 1-0 loss to Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday ensured they stayed eighth in the table and means they are on course to have their lowest ever Premier League points haul. Despite seemingly going backwards, former Ajax boss Ten Hag is confident he is the right man to bring success to the Red Devils.
WHAT ERIK TEN HAG SAID
When asked if he can be the man to take United forward, he said: "I have no doubt about this. As human beings and my experience that will always happen once in three months when you are not in the right attitude. But, mostly this team has the right spirit and they execute the rules and principles of the game even if they have to adapt in their positions. I can only be happy and it is a big compliment for this team that they executed all that they could and they were fighting."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
United's lowest-ever Premier League points total stands at 58, which occurred back in the 2021/22 season. With two games remaining, they are four points shy of that tally. If they fail to surpass that and lose to Manchester City in the FA Cup final this month, Ten Hag's days at the club are likely to be numbered.
WHAT NEXT?
Ten Hag's United will hope to bounce back from their loss to Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal when they host Newcastle United on Wednesday. They round off their league campaign away to Brighton next weekend.
