Man Utd eye Girona's Gutierrez amid Arsenal and West Ham links
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Girona star Miguel Gutierrez but reportedly face competition from Arsenal and West Ham.
According to GiveMeSport, United are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, with Erik ten Hag's men prioritising a new left-back for next season. The report adds that Manchester City's influence over Girona given their common ownership by City Football Group, may also make it difficult for the Red Devils to recruit the Spain under-21 international - who is also being chased by the Hammers and the Gunners.
Barcelona could sell Frenkie De Jong this summer
As per AS, Frenkie De Jong could be Barcelona's first bet to make a major this summer with Ronald Araujo set to stay with the Catalan side. The news could be a positive one for Manchester United, who have been after the Dutch midfielder since last summer.
The Catalan side had already thought about selling him last summer for a set price but did not as the player remained stern on his decision to remain with the club. However, AS also reports that the Dutchman could be open to making the move come true this summer.
Feyenoord boss Arne Slot confirms he wants to join Liverpool
Feyenoord boss Arne Slot admits he would "like to go" to Liverpool and confirmed talks are ongoing for him to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
He told ESPN: "The only thing I can say about it is that the clubs are negotiating. I am in the waiting room. It's clear to me that I would like to go to Liverpool. I'm now waiting to see whether the clubs will reach an agreement, but I have every confidence in that. It is now up to the clubs and as the central figure you have to respect that. More will become clear in the coming days."
Potter rejects Ajax due to ex-Chelsea boss' salary demands
Former Chelsea boss Graham Potter has reportedly turned down the Ajax manager role as the Dutch giants allegedly could not match his salary demands.
The 48-year-old has been out of work since getting sacked by Chelsea in April 2023. The former Brighton head coach has been linked with roles at Manchester United, Crystal Palace and more recently Ajax. Now, Dutch publication Het Parool claims Potter turned down Ajax's offer as it did not come close to the salary he wanted.
Arsenal consider Bruno and Luiz offers as Zubimendi move stalls
Arsenal may turn their attention to Bruno Guimaraes and Douglas Luiz amid concerns landing Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi may be 'difficult'.
According to the Evening Standard, the Gunners want to sign at least one midfielder this summer and have had Zubimendi on their radar for quite some time. The report adds the 25-year-old has been reluctant to leave his boyhood club amid interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona. As that transfer proves difficult, Mikel Arteta's men could move for Newcastle United's Guimaraes and Villa's Luiz but both clubs are reluctant to sell - unless a huge offer comes in.
Van Dijk explains why he thinks Slot can succeed at Liverpool
Virgil van Dijk believes Feyenoord boss Arne Slot "can be a Liverpool coach" as the Reds try to find a successor for Jurgen Klopp. Slot has emerged as the new favourite to replace Klopp at the end of the season, with talks over an Anfield move already underway.
"I think Slot is one of the better Dutch coaches at the moment. With the way he plays and the philosophy he has, he can be a Liverpool coach. But I read and hear that it is far from complete. We shall see. We will focus on that next season, but that is still a long way off."

According to BBC Sport, the Eagles will demand £60m ($75m) for each player - with the duo both out of contract at Selhurst Park in the summer of 2027. The report adds neither contract contains a straightforward release clause and both players are happy at the south London outfit.
Juventus consider cashing in on McKennie amid Man Utd links
Juventus are reportedly considering cashing in on USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie this summer - rather than losing him for free next year.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady have not reached an agreement over a new deal with the 25-year-old, therefore, they may try and sell him at the end of the season and take advantage of his impressive performances.
Man Utd consider surprise swoop to sign Toney
