The Turkish club wants the Swede to replace Tanguy Ndombele - who is on loan from Tottenham.
The 32-year-old has scored one goal and provided two assists in 21 games this season, eleven of which have been starts.
Eriksen has managed to score three goals and twelve assists in a total of 65 games in the United shirt.
