Southend’s National League play-off prospects suffered a further dent after being held to a goalless draw by Woking at Roots Hall.
The Shrimpers drew for the sixth time in a 10-match unbeaten run which has left them 10 points adrift of the top seven with six games remaining.
Nathan Ralph had a close-range shot saved by Woking goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen before Noor Husin fired just over for the home side shortly after the break.
Jayden Luker had a shot well blocked by Southend stopper Collin Andeng Ndi while Dan Moss also shot wide for the visitors, who had won four of their last five.
Lee Angol, who has joined Woking on loan until the end of the season from Sutton, nearly capped his debut with the winner but his effort was well saved by Andeng Ndi.
