Chelsea are intensifying its search for a new centre-forward, with Lautaro Martinez emerging as a prime target, according to HITC.

Chelsea's primary choice for the striker role is Napoli's Victor Osimhen and his price is believed to have dropped to around £95 million from £150 million since last summer.

However, if Chelsea fails to secure Osimhen, they may turn their attention to Inter Milan's Martinez. Despite having two years left on his contract, Inter is optimistic about extending Martinez's stay and is prepared to make him their highest-paid player to facilitate contract negotiations that have been ongoing since last year.

Despite the interest from English clubs, Real Madrid seems reluctant to engage in discussions regarding Rodrygo's potential transfer. Nevertheless, sources suggest that they might consider negotiations if presented with a substantial offer, rumoured to be around €100 million.

Rodrygo, who recently penned a new contract with Los Blancos in November, committing his future to the club until 2028, remains focused on his current club. However, with the arrival of Endrick and the potential signing of Kylian Mbappé looming, uncertainty surrounds his future role at the Bernabeu.

"You have big teams in England, they call themselves the big six. The Arsenals and the Chelseas," he told Let's Be Honest Podcast.

"It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League and I am right now. Who wouldn't want to go to a massive team? Especially coming out of Jamaica, do you know how big that is for the country? Especially being who I am as well.

"It would shine more light and that has been my focus whenever overseas. It is to use my platform to be able to shine light on the country and the young talents. It's difficult for us Jamaicans to even make it to Europe."
