Transfer Talk: Man City eye Lucas Paqueta as Silva replacement

Manchester City remain interested in signing West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta, according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old is reported to still be eyeing a move to the Citizens after coming close to joining them last summer before an investigation into alleged betting breaches by him was launched by the FA. Paqueta has since maintained impressive form for the Hammers, with his goal against Freiburg in the Europa League 5-0 win on Thursday night the seventh that he has contributed to in his past 10 games.
Manager Pep Guardiola is believed to see him as a long-term successor to Bernardo Silva, as uncertainty continues to linger around the Portugal international after he was previously linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with City even "prepared to wait" for clarity over Paqueta's situation.
It is said that a release clause in his contract allows him to be signed for a fee of £86 million this summer.
