Adult content creator Astrid Wett is taking a break from attending Chelsea matches due to the abuse she's faced from fans.

The explicit model and Misfits boxer has been a frequent fixture at Blues games in recent times and was at Wembley for Sunday's Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool. It was there that Wett became embroiled in controversy after she was accused of faking a story that her ticket wouldn't let her in, only to allegedly be gifted a replacement by a fellow Chelsea fan.

The story didn't end there, however, as Wett later showed screenshots indicating her benefactor had asked for compensation in return. And it's days after the fan is said to have been trolled by the online masses - as well as facing questions from his employer - that Wett, 23, has decided to take a break from games altogether.

"Haters, you have finally won," she announced in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter). "After the final I received so much abuse that I don’t feel safe going to Chelsea games anymore. If anyone is wondering why I’m not at the Leeds game tonight.

"I’ve had drinks thrown over me, I’ve even been spat at. But 99% of you guys are really nice and ask for photos, but the rest of you just ruin it.

"I’m one of Chelsea’s biggest fans and I’ve followed them all around the world. I feel like I deserve a little bit more respect. But, yeah, I’m taking the rest of the season off."

Eyebrows have been raised at Wett's antics during matches, with her habit of recording herself live at games getting under the skin of many fans. However, her claims of abuse on matchdays raise concerns regarding safety and the state of the modern game.

The social media star is from Portsmouth originally but claims to be a "lifelong Chelsea fan." It wasn't long after confirming her hiatus from Blues fixtures that Wett uploaded another video celebrating "Chelsea are BACK" after coming from behind to beat Leeds 3-2 and reach the FA Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.
