Their interest in the Italian comes with Man Utd wanting to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka

He has appeared 25 times in the Italian top flight, scoring once and adding five assists from right wing-back.

This includes a recent purple patch of a goal and three assists in his last six games.

Tuttosport claim the Italian youth international has been watched "multiple times" by Red Devils scouts this campaign.

The paper also claims their interest comes with Aaron Wan-Bissaka being put up for sale.

Things have not quite gone to plan for Wan-Bissaka since arriving at Old Trafford from Crystal Palace in 2019.

It was hoped he would nail down the right-back spot following his £50million move, but injuries and a lack of development in his attacking game have prevented this from being the case.

Now with just one year left on his contract, Man Utd chiefs want to cash in on the right-back.

Bellanova himself is rated at £6m.

However, Man Utd are not the only team who are interested in Bellanova.

Premier League rivals Aston Villa also hold an interest and like Man Utd have sent scouts to watch him throughout the season.

Although Villa are also said to be considering a move for Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries.

Bellanova is yet to make his Italy debut.

But it is reported national team boss Luciano Spalletti is considering a call-up in next months international friendlies.

Wan-Bissaka is one of 11 stars reportedly on the chopping block following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's 27.7 per cent £1.03bn partial takeover of Man Utd.

He has recently been sidelined through injury but has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season.
