Liverpool and Manchester City are watching Porto midfielder Alan Varela.
O Jogo says Liverpool and City are scouting Varela this season.
The Argentine produced a superb performance in their Champions League victory over Arsenal last week. He was assertive in his tackling and accurate with the ball, dominating on the night.
City and Liverpool have been impressed and are keenly following Varela.
The midfielder has a deal at Porto to 2028 with a buyout clause of €70m.
