The Telegraph states that Spurs believe stories suggesting Postecoglou is leaving them to become Liverpool manager are wide off the mark.

While the Australian may very well be of interest to the Anfield club, he is committed to Spurs.

The Australian wants to build on the progress he has made at the London team so far this term.

What many Spurs fans may fear is Postecoglou wanting to become Liverpool head coach.

He is a boyhood Liverpool fan and may believe his dream job is too good to turn down.
