The match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford ended with Brentford securing a 2-0 victory.

Christian Norgaard gave Brentford the lead in the 35th minute with a close-range header from a corner. Ivan Toney extended Brentford's lead to 2-0 in the 77th minute by turning in Vitaly Janelt's low cross.

HITC's report states that Arsenal had scouts observing Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto and Brentford striker Toney during the match. The same sources have also indicated previous interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in Toney.

Arsenal hold admiration for both Pedro Neto and Ivan Toney, and they continued their assessment of the two players during Saturday's match.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson is a staunch admirer of Pedro Neto. The Sky Sports pundit has expressed his belief that the winger would be a fantastic addition to the Gunners' squad.

in October 2023, Merson told Sportskeeda: "Pedro Neto now looks like the excellent player we all expected him to become.

"He'd be a great addition to Arsenal, with the way they rely on their wingers."

Pedro Neto has accumulated 106 appearances in the Premier League throughout his career thus far. Within those matches, he has contributed 11 goals and provided 18 assists.
