The former Manchester United midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer.
Jesse Lingard is set to complete a surprise transfer to FC Seoul
According to Sky Sports, Lingard has verbally agreed a two-year deal with the option of a further year to join FC Seoul.
The 31-year-old is expected to fly to South Korea to complete the deal in the coming days.
FC Seoul are six-time K League champions and have twice reached the final of the Asian Champions League.
Their squad includes former Swansea and Newcastle midfielder Ki Sung-yeung, who helped the club to a seventh place finish in 2023.
Lingard had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this month.
However, Al-Shabab were unable to complete the deal before the Saudi Pro League window slammed shut.
A number of Turkish clubs had also been monitoring Lingard, who even offered himself to Barcelona.
He has been available since his Forest deal expired at the end of June last year.
Lingard made 20 appearances during his solitary season at the City Ground, scoring twice.
The former England international has also appeared in the Premier League for the Red Devils and West Ham.
