Loris Karius’ gorgeous WAG Diletta Leotta announced the pair have hidden their engagement for months in an emotional social media post.

The ex-Liverpool and Newcastle United goalkeeper has seemingly been performing better off than on the pitch with the German’s most infamous moments being his 2018 Champions League final nightmare for Liverpool and losing to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup final with Newcastle United in his only appearance for the club to date.

Unlike his career, Karius’ romance with his 32-year-old Catania-born presenting partner has been blossoming. The couple welcomed their first child in August last year before Karius popped the question earlier this year.

Diletta posted to her 9million followers on Instagram a couple of pictures of her and Karius when they got engaged. Including the German sat at the foot of their bed with a love heart made out of petals, and another of him planting a kiss on her forehead while holding her baby bump.

Captioning the post, Diletta – a model and TV presenter – wrote: “Vi devo dire una cosa.. I said yes! I’ve waited a few months to tell you because Loris and I wanted to live as much as possible the emotions of Aria’s birth but now we’re ready to dedicate ourselves to this new big milestone together as a family!

“Do you know the phrase ‘When you’re happy pay attention’’, in the moment captured in these photos I was the happiest woman in the world, with Loris and with Aria who was arriving”.

Karius returned to English football last season when he joined Newcastle, but the 30-year-old has yet to feature again for the club since him one and only appearance that merited him a runners-up medal at Wembley.
