Jose Mourinho's Man Utd comeback?! Legendary Portuguese manager believes he has 'unfinished business' at Old Trafford - but his dreams are likely to be scuppered

Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to a return to Manchester United for a second spell as coach as he feels he has "unfinished business" at the club.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Portuguese manager has made it his mission to have another shot at guiding the Old Trafford club to glory, The Daily Mail reports. He hopes to work with United's new co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, who are taking charge of football operations since purchasing a 25 percent stake in the club.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
While Mourinho is looking for a way back to United, the club are not searching for a new manager at this point. Current manager Erik ten Hag is contracted until 2025 and is tasked with guiding them back up the table. Furthermore, many of the players Mourinho criticised following his time at United are still there, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay still hanging on at Old Trafford.
DID YOU KNOW?
Mourinho spent almost two and a half years in charge of United before his sacking in December 2018. He guided the Red Devils to Europa League, Carabao Cup and Community Shield success. He is free to take on another job since he was sacked by Roma earlier in January.
WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?
United are now ninth in the Premier League and have already crashed out of Europe and the Carabao Cup, meaning their only realistic hope of silverware this season is in the FA Cup. Ten Hag's team are in action on Thursday when they visit Wolves.
