Andre Onana to quit Cameroon again?! Man Utd star considering international future following miserable AFCON where goalkeeper was benched twice amid Samuel Eto'o feud

Andre Onana is 'considering' his international future again due to barely playing for Cameroon at AFCON amid a feud with FA president Samuel Eto'o.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The goalkeeper played just once in his country's four games in the Africa Cup of Nations as they fell to Nigeria in the last 16 of the competition on Saturday. Now, the Daily Mail claims the 27-year-old's lack of game time and an ongoing rift with Cameroon FA president Samuel Eto'o may convince him to quit international football for the second time in just over 12 months.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Onana has had a tough time since completing a £47.2 million ($59.9m) move from Inter Milan to Manchester United last summer, with the stopper failing to impress on multiple occasions at the Premier League giants. And after a sub-optimal tournament with Cameroon, where Fabrice Ondoa was preferred by coach Rigobert Song, things don't seem to be getting any better for the ex-Ajax star.
DID YOU KNOW?
Onana retired from international football in December 2022 after he was ejected from Cameroon's World Cup camp in Qatar following a falling out with Eto'o and Song. However, he reversed his decision last September, shortly after joining United.
WHAT NEXT?
Onana returned to Manchester on Monday and is expected to be in between the sticks for their away trip to Wolves on Thursday, with deputising keeper Altay Bayindir likely to drop to the bench for the Molineux encounter.
