Brighton's De Zerbi favourite to replace Xavi at Barcelona
Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi is being considered the favourite candidate to replace Xavi as the next Barcelona manager in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Xavi announced on Saturday after Barcelona's defeat against Villarreal that he would quit the club at the end of the ongoing season.
Motta responds to speculation about him replacing Xavi
Former Barcelona player and current Bologna boss Thiago Motta has responded to speculations about him replacing Xavi as the next Blaugrana boss.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, Motta said, "That is sad, he was doing a great job and won the title last season. I saw Jurgen Klopp announce he was leaving Liverpool. Coaching is a tough job, but it is the one we chose."
When asked about his future with Bologna, the Italian added, "When there is news to report, I will tell you, but there’s none today."
Casemiro responds to Al-Nassr links
