Victor Osimhen has made a decision on his future

The Nigerian forward has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Premier League, with Chelsea a constant name in the conversation.

The 25-year-old signed a new deal with the Italian outfit in December.

However, the reported inclusion of a £112million release clause means Napoli cannot hold buyers to ransom and will have to sell if that figure is met.

According to Fabrizio Romano, writing for CaughtOffside, Osimhen has already made the decision to find a new club in the summer, believing his time in Naples has been a "great success".

Romano reports Chelsea will face competition from Saudi Arabia while he teases that fans should "keep an eye" on Arsenal.

The Gunners have been linked with Ivan Toney throughout the window, but SunSport understands there will be no movement from the Gunners this month.

Instead, it seems the North London outfit will wait until the summer to make moves for a new forward.

Osimhen has previously hinted at moving to the Prem and teased a transfer to Chelsea only last month.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan wished the striker a happy birthday before posting an image of a young Osimhen wearing a Blues shirt.

The post was captioned: "Please come and rescue Chelsea soon."

He responded by posting two heart emojis and a praying emoji.

Osimhen has left Napoli in mid-season to represent Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations.

He has scored once from three games at the tournament.
