AC Milan are interested in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, who could reunite in Serie A with USMNT star Christian Pulisic.
- Chalobah linked with Serie A move
- Milan facing injury crisis
- Defender still sidelined with hamstring
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Sun reports that Arsenal defender Jakob Kiwior and Aston Villa loanee from Barcelona, Clement Lenglet, are also on the shortlist of the Rossoneri. Milan is dealing with an injury crisis, with Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw all sidelined at the moment.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Chalobah, however, has been dealing with his own injury issues of late. He's been sidelined by a hamstring problem since August, and as a result, the Rossoneri are thought to be hesitant over making a move for him. Their interest has been registered regardless, meaning he could potentially reunite with Pulisic, Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud at San Siro in Italy.
DID YOU KNOW?
Chalobah can play both central defense and right-back, which would allow manager Stefano Pioli to be more versatile with his selection, should he choose to sign him.
WHAT NEXT FOR MILAN AND CHALOBAH
The Blues are set to take on Middlesbrough Tuesday in the English FA Cup, but Chalobah is still sidelined and will not participate in the contest. Milan, meanwhile, next take the pitch on Saturday in Serie A action against Bologna.
