Man United, Arsenal eye Ajax's Brobbey

Manchester United and Arsenal are both looking at Ajax forward Brian Brobbey to bolster their attacking options, the Daily Mirror reports.
United manager Erik ten Hag handed an 18-year-old Brobbey his first-team debut at Ajax in 2020 during his time in charge of the Amsterdam club, and the striker went on to score six goals in 19 appearances that season before joining RB Leipzig the following summer.
The Netherlands international lasted only a season in Germany before returning to Ajax, and he has scored 31 goals in the year-and-a-half since he came back to his boyhood club.
With Anthony Martial due to leave the club at the end of the season, if not in the January window, Brobbey is being considered as a replacement at Old Trafford to compete with Rasmus Højlund at centre-forward. However, the Mirror reports that the club's financial position means they would likely only be able to bring the 21-year-old in on an initial loan deal if they wanted to recruit him this month.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have also been watching Brobbey as they look to solve their own goal-scoring problems. With main target Ivan Toney not likely to be leaving Brentford until the summer, the Gunners could make a move in the winter window if they decided they needed to act fast.
