The 22-year-old Belgian international arrived at Goodison Park from Lille for £33.5million after snubbing West Ham in August 2022.
Arsenal are reportedly set to make a move for Everton's Amadou Onana this month
Onana instantly became a key player under Frank Lampard and remains an integral part of the Toffees team under Sean Dyche.
He has made 16 appearances in the Premier League this term, scoring once, and has already been linked with a host of other clubs.
Chelsea were believed to be chasing his services during the summer transfer window while Manchester United are also said to be keen.
Everton managed to hang on to Onana, but now they look set to face a fresh fight to keep the star.
TEAMtalk claim Arsenal have made an approach to sign him this month with Mikel Arteta said to be a "huge admirer" of the player.
The Gunners boss forked out a club-record £105m to land Declan Rice before this season kicked off but he is keen to strengthen his midfield further.
Now they could allegedly "make an offer for him in the near future" as they look to "beat the competition to Onana's signature".
However, they will have to cough up a hefty fee to land him from the relegation battlers.
Onana is under contract at Everton until 2027 after penning a five-year deal upon his arrival.
The Toffees will reportedly "demand a huge fee" for him as they are "extremely reluctant to let him leave mid-season".
And this update says that they will be "looking for between £70m and £90m" to even consider letting him go.
