And this form has put the 26-year-old on Chelsea's radar.

Mauricio Pochettino has sent scouts to watch Dovbyk in the last few weeks.

And the Blues boss has been particularly impressed by the 6ft 2in striker's physical profile.

Pochettino wants to add "weight" to his Blues front line.

And Dovbyk is now seen as the ideal candidate.

Poch wants him to compete with Nicolas Jackson for the number 9 spot.

And the sooner the better with 22-year-old Jackson heading to the African Cup of Nations with Senegal in the coming weeks.
