Benfica eyeing defender Alvaro Fernandez

Manchester United defender Alvaro Fernandez may be the subject of transfer interest.
The left-back is out on loan at Granada in Spain, where he is having a solid season.
Fernandez has played 13 games and five from the start, but is not a regular in La Liga.
Per O Jogo, Benfica in Portugal are sufficiently impressed with his progress as a senior pro.
The youngster could earn a permanent move to the giants, as he is not likely to come back into United's first team.
Manager Erik ten Hag has not shown any indication of wanting to hold onto Fernandez.
