New Inter Miami signing Luis Suarez believes the MLS side will have a 'great year' and they will 'fight until the end' to achieve their dreams.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Uruguayan has joined former Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami for the 2024 season. The 36-year-old joined as a free agent after leaving Brazilian team Gremio. Now he has set his sights on achieving big things next year.
WHAT LUIS SUAREZ SAID
The former Liverpool star said: “I want them [the fans] to trust the team as they have trusted in previous years. We’re going to have a great year, a year in which we hope to give them all the joy they desire. And that we’ll fight until the end to achieve those dreams.
“I’m here to help them achieve their dreams of winning more titles, achieve great things and that Inter Miami can fight to win MLS, which is everyone’s dream. The project is to win. I love the challenge is to win.”

Suarez won four La Liga titles at Barcelona alongside Messi, Busquets and Alba between 2015-19. They also triumphed in the 2015 edition of the Champions League and the FIFA World Club Cup. Now they are reunited as they seek to secure more silverware at a club that won their first ever trophy last season with the Leagues Cup victory.
WHAT NEXT?
The quartet could play alongside each other once again when the 2024 MLS season starts in February at home to Real Salt Lake.
