The Citizens are said to be holding talks with Juventus regarding a fringe midfielder.
The Sky Blues and the Turin club are negotiating over a potential deal for Kalvin Phillips.
The England international has been a peripheral figure at City since arriving at the start of the 2022/2023 season.
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, a deal that takes Phillips to Juve is very much on.
The Italian club are eager for a loan with a buy option, which City may not object to either.
