Man Utd target Leipzig striker who scored twice against City
Manchester United have reportedly identified Lois Openda as their top January transfer target, according to the Mirror.
The Red Devils have reportedly decided to replace a misfiring Anthony Martial and a banished Jadon Sancho. And to fill the void they have zeroed in on the striker who scored twice against Manchester City earlier in the season.
Origi could head back to Milan in the summer
Divock Origi's stint with Nottingham Forest is unlikely to extend beyond this season, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The 28-year-old Belgian forward joined the City Ground on a season-long loan from AC Milan. However, Origi's time on the pitch has been limited, accumulating only 152 minutes and failing to score during his loan spell.
The report indicates that Nottingham Forest does not intend to exercise the option to secure Origi permanently for €5 million. As a result, Milan will need to seek another club for the striker in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Premier League Clubs Interested in Di Gregorio
Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio is garnering attention, with Premier League clubs joining the list of suitors, according to Tuttosport.
The 26-year-old, who initiated his career at Inter Milan, made a move to Monza in the summer of 2022 following the club's promotion to Serie A.
Previously linked with AC Milan and Napoli, Di Gregorio's growing popularity has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle.
Postecoglou wants a new forward in January
Ange Postecoglou feels that Tottenham need more firepower in attack after Thursday's defeat to West Ham at home.
"We are still well short in that area," Postecoglou said during Friday's news conference. "It’s still the area where we’ve got so much more upside in our front third to score more goals. I really feel like, apart from some areas where we need to keep working on, our front third stuff we’ve got so much more improvement to get to as a team.
"It's not easy. When you're talking about the finished product you know what that's going to cost and there aren't that many there. It's about developing our players here and giving more information and room for them to continue to grow and understand the different options they have in those areas. Some of it's just experience of them being in those positions and us giving them the information to execute better next time."
