Barcelona threaten Newcastle plans for De Gea

Barcelona are considering signing a free agent goalkeeper as cover for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Ter Stegen faces three-to-four months out after choosing to undergo back surgery this week.
It leaves Inaki Pena as Barca's one senior keeper available, so forcing them into the market.
As such, Ok Diario says they're studying the free agency market, with former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea under consideration. De Gea is also a target for Newcastle.
Sergio Asenjo is another being considered. Asenjo terminated his contract at Real Valladolid on deadline day and remains a free agent.
