Erling Haaland takes to Twitter to CARRY ON rage at controversial ref Simon Hooper after Man City draw with Spurs

ERLING HAALAND has carried on his blazing rant from Manchester City's draw with Tottenham on social media.

Haaland was left furious with referee Simon Hooper after City were denied the chance to win the game in the 94th minute.

With the score 3-3, Haaland had picked up the ball almost at the halfway line where he was fouled and fell to the floor for a split second.

However, the 23-year-old wanted to play on and immediately got to his feet and played a pass over the top for the on-running Jack Grealish with the ref initially playing advantage.

But as the ball left his feet and headed towards Grealish, who had scored City's third goal of the game in the 81st minute, behind the Spurs defence Hooper pulled the game back to the earlier foul.

Haaland and his City team-mates were furious with the decision and protested the call.

After the game an irate Haaland could still be seen with the bit between his teeth.

He was spotted shouting "F*** off, F*** off," as he made his way off the pitch.

After the game he then took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to berate the decision.

Quoting a post with a video of the decision, Haaland simply said: "Wtf."

Responding to the shock post, one fan said: "Your head is on mars 😭."

A second said: "Genuinely horrible call, every right to feel wronged."

A third said: "No way you rushed to Twitter to pour the rest of your fury here😭."

Another said: "Bro stormed out of the pitch, picked up his phone and ran straight to Twitter."

A fourth added: "NO WAY THIS IS THE REAL ERLING 😂."

Haaland's dad Alfie seemed to agree as well, replying: "Terrible", under the post.

Other fans chose to highlight chances Haaland had to score himself which he did not take during the game.
