Chelsea join Newcastle interest for Real Betis starlet Assane Diao

Chelsea have joined Premier League rivals Newcastle United in the race to sign Real Betis starlet Assane Diao.
The 18-year-old winger has been attracting attention due to his impressive displays this season.
Diao has six goals in 15 games so far this term, including two in two against Granada CF and Valencia.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Betis are hoping to increase the player's £30 million release clause.
However, they may be too late if he refuses to renew his deal, as Chelsea and Newcastle lurk.
The Premier League clubs could easily afford such a fee, which makes Diao a prime winter target.
