Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has responded to reports about his career.
The Spanish shot stopper is being linked with a short term return to the Old Trafford club.
The 32-year-old is a free agent after no club picked him up over the summer, despite being available on a free transfer.
Per The Sun, United are hopeful of securing De Gea for the busy New Year period, when Andre Onana is heading to the African Cup of Nations.
De Gea appeared to have read the story, posting a thinking emoji on his social media account.
The veteran has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, but appears to favor a stay in Europe.
