The 26-year-old forward joined the Hammers from Hull City back in 2020 and has become a firm favourite with the East End faithful.

And his displays have also earned him recognition on the international stage with Gareth Southgate capping him four times for England.

Bowen has scored 32 goals in 132 Premier League games but he cemented his status as a Hammers legend in the Europe Conference League final.

He scored the crucial last-ditch winner against Fiorentina to seal the European trophy last term and now the club want to tie him down long-term.

His current contract expires in June 2025 and negotiations are already underway for a new package.

However, TalkSPORT claim that those discussions "continue to move slowly".

And that hold-up has reportedly put both Liverpool and Newcastle "on alert" as they plot a swoop.

West Ham remain "hopeful" that he will stay in the capital but Bowen's "advisers are aware" that he is on the radar of the Anfield giants.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are believed to have a list of potential replacements for Mohamed Salah as he continues to be linked with a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia.

And Bowen, who welcomed twin daughters Star and Summer into the world this summer with reality TV star partner Dani Dyer, is said to be one of those potential targets.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is also "a long-term admirer" of Bowen, who has produced one assist and five goals in five Premier League outings this season.
