Messi wants Modric at Inter Miami!

Lionel Messi is reportedly interested in having Luka Modric as his teammate at Inter Miami. Former Real Madrid star, Pedja Mijatovic, revealed that a meeting has already taken place between club co-owner David Beckham and the 38-year-old midfielder and a bid might be submitted in January.

"Messi himself has personally been interested in the possibility. In Croatia, a few days ago, Modric met Beckham, where they were eating," Mijatovic told Cadena SER.

City wanted to sign Riquelme from Atletico

Manchester City made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Rodrigo Riquelme from Atletico Madrid, as reported by Relevo.

During the summer transfer window, several other clubs showed interest in Riquelme. Real Betis, Valencia, and Sevilla all tried to secure his services on loan, while Feyenoord expressed interest in a permanent deal.

However, City's attempt to sign Riquelme included an offer to take on 50% of his rights, but this proposal was declined by Atletico Madrid.
