And his displays have caught the eye of both struggling Manchester United and Chelsea, says Fabrizio Romano.

The attacking midfielder has graduated through Flamengo youth academy to become a key player in the first-team this term.

After making his debut from the bench in January, he then celebrated his first start with a goal to earn a draw against Bangu Atletico Clube.

That also secured him a place in the club's history books as he became the youngest scorer in their history at the age of 16.

Now both United and Chelsea are continuing to monitor his progress and have allegedly sent scouts to watch him in action.

Lorran, an U16 international for Brazil, is under contract until 2025.

However, his package includes a £43m release clause.

He also recently signed up to be represented by the highly-renowned ROC Nation Sports - the agency of legendary rapper Jay-Z.

Fellow comprations Vinicius Junior, Lucas Paqueta, Gabriel Martinelli and Endrick are also part of the group's clients.

Now United and Chelsea look set to keep an eye on Lorran's progress before deciding whether to make an offer for the Samba ace.

The Blues have been busy in the Brazilian market of late, snapping up Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama plus Angelo Gabriel and Deivid Washington from Santos.

The Red Devils also have two Brazilians within their ranks, midfielder Casemiro and winger Antony.
