Manchester United are confident they have not broken any FIFA rules by forcing Jadon Sancho to train alone following a bust-up with Erik ten Hag.
Sancho publicly slammed his manager and it sparked a series of events that has left Sancho banned from first-team training. However, the winger has also been exiled from all first-team related activities - including the dressing room and the canteen.
According to FIFA regulations, a club asking a player to train on their own may be found to have engaged in "abusive conduct" - which goes against employment law. However, United are confident they haven't breached such law.
United are confident they have provided a sufficient standard of training and physical fitness for Sancho - with the winger being designated fitness coaches.
Sancho will not be allowed to play for the Red Devils until he apologises to Ten Hag - but the Englishman appears to be holding out for the manager to apologise. And the Dutchman was asked about Sancho on Tuesday, but he said he would "not talk about players who are not available."
United didn't miss their man on Tuesday evening, as they put Crystal Palace to the sword in the Carabao Cup.
The Red Devils raced into a two-goal lead with their second string team, before Anthony Martial added a third in the second half. Ten Hag's side will now face the same opponents in the Premier League over the weekend.
