Pochettino hoping for 'momentum' as Chelsea knock Brighton out of Cup

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is banking on their Carabao Cup win against Brighton launching their season.

Nicolas Jackson struck on 50 minutes to earn the win for the Blues.

Pochettino later said: "Good response from the team, I was very pleased with the performance again and now happy for the victory and important to go through in the competition and build our trust and momentum. I hope we can bring this momentum to the future.
