BBC Sport's Emma Jones shuts down sexist troll who asked 'show us your t**s'

BBC Sport presenter Emma Louise Jones has savaged a sexist troll who sent her a DM saying: "Show us your t*ts".

The 33-year-old, who works on the Beeb's weekly Premier League football show MOTDx hosted by Jermaine Jenas, turned the vile message she received into a hilarious skit and uploaded the clip to Instagram.

Sporting a headset, Emma played the part of a customer service operator working at a 'DM helpline', and pretended to receive a call from Simon, the man who sent her the inappropriate message.

"Hello, DM helpline, can I take your name please," she began. "Hi Simon thanks for calling. How can I help? You sent a woman a friendly message on the internet and you think she's blocked you? That's a shame, Simon, what did the message say?"

After reading the message out, she 'asked' Simon: "Do you think that's an appropriate conversation starter? I know you said please but you did still ask a woman that you've never met to show you her t*ts?

"I know you told her to keep up the good work but you still asked a woman that you've never met to show you her t*ts? My advice to you would be, stop asking women to show you their t*ts. Alright, Simon. Take care. Bye bye."

Fans raced to the comments section of Emma's post to lavish her with praise, particularly for finding such a creative way to stick it to the online trolls.

"Yass, EJ! Preach, girl! Oh and 'Simon' please don't be told again," one follower wrote. Another added: "I wish these were daily. They are literally so amusing. But I do hope people realise there's a serious side to this. That sending people messages like this can be mentally damaging, even though they're attempting a compliment."

"Love these Emma ,even though your making a joke of it you are still getting your message across .Keep up the good work," a third commented. "Oh honestly, I equally love these and cringe at the same time!!! What is wrong with these blokes," wrote a fourth.

Jones, who is a massive Leeds fan, has amassed one heck of a following on social media in the past few years, with over 400,000 followers on Instagram and 277,000 followers on TikTok.
