Move over, Burnley! There's a new announcement sheriff in town.

Kyle Walker has signed an extension at Manchester City following months of speculation about his future, and the club confirmed the agreement by spoofing a famous scene from the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street.

Mimicking Leonardo Di Caprio's character, Jordan Belfort, in the iconic scene where he refuses to leave Stratton Oakmont, Walker is seen on stage holding a microphone while repeatedly declaring: "I'm not leaving!"

The rest of the City squad, who are made to look as if they're watching Walker on stage, jump up and celebrate, just as the Statton Oakmont employees did in the movie.

Walker then shouts: "This is my home," as clips of him hugging and high-fiving his team-mates are spliced into the video.

Fans on social media were absolutely loving the post, with one very pleased City supporter branding it "unreal".

"So pleased Walker has signed a extension, and what a way to announce it," one fan wrote. "Fairs this is an unreal announcement video," said a second, while a third replied: "Our media team need a raise."

The 33-year-old, who had less than a year left on his previous contract, has agreed to extend his stay at the club until 2026, ending speculation of a departure. Walker was heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, but a transfer never materialised.

The right-back, who scored his very first England goal against Ukraine on Saturday, has been at City since joining from Tottenham for £50million in 2017. He's racked up 260 appearances for the club, winning 13 major honours including five Premier League titles and the Champions League.

Speaking to the club after signing his new deal, Walker said: "I'm thrilled to sign a new deal. My future is with Manchester City and that is the best thing for me.

"I've enjoyed every single moment of the past six years at this fantastic Club. I have an amazing coach, great team-mates and staff and our fans are the best. I feel supported on every single level.

"The Treble-winning season is one I will never forget and we're ready to go again and try to win more trophies. I am delighted to continue at a Club that competes for trophies every year and I can't wait to see what the next few years bring."
