ANTONY has been pictured relaxing with pals at a pool in Sao Paulo as he faces allegations of abuse from three women.

The 23-year-old Man United player smiled as he posed for selfies with fans despite being axed from the national team for their World Cup qualifiers this month.

The £85million winger had already flown to Brazil before agreeing to an indefinite leave of absence from his club following accusations of domestic abuse from his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin.

He is currently being investigated by cops in both Manchester and Sao Paolo.

He's also facing fresh accusations of assault from two other women - including banker Ingrid Lana who alleges he pushed her against a wall in Manchester in September last year.

Antony has not been arrested or charged and has promised to "come up with the evidence" to prove the truth.

Cavallin accused the Brazilian star of physical aggression towards her on a number of occasions in bombshell claims.

A total of four alleged attacks are described in a police report seen by ESPN.

She has shared pictures showing bloodied clothes, sliced fingers, and a head wound from an alleged attack.

The model urged Old Trafford bosses to ban him from playing while police investigate claims he assaulted her.

She told The Sun on Sunday: "Antony needs to be taken off the pitch. It's disappointing he's still allowed to play while there's an investigation.

"I am absolutely destroyed by the whole process. How can life go on as normal for him? They can't just know what they know now and not do anything. He needs to be removed."

The next day, Antony issued a statement confirming he would not be returning to train with United ''until further notice''.

"This was a mutual decision to avoid distraction to my teammates and unnecessary controversy for the club," he said.

"I want to reiterate my innocence of the things I have been accused of, and I will fully cooperate with the police to help them reach the truth."

And last week, Man United described any suggestion of a cover-up as "categorically false".

Antony said he "trusts ongoing police investigations" to reveal the "truth about my innocence".

The star volunteered himself for interview in June.

Meanwhile, United has also said it will co-operate with any police inquiries.

Women's Aid has praised the club for their swift action to remove Antony.

After the criticism the club received over Greenwood, Old Trafford chiefs spoke at length to Women's Aid — and other charities — about how to deal with similar situations.
