Fiorentina president Commisso: Not just Man Utd in contact for Amrabat

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso says Manchester United aren't the only club in contact for Sofyan Amrabat.

On the eve of transfer deadline day, Commisso delivered an update on Amrabat's situation after their Europa Conference League playoff win against Rapid Vienna.

"There are other clubs for Amrabat too," he said.

"I cannot give an answer right now, because not even I know what will happen tomorrow. We told Amrabat that if he has an opportunity to leave, then we'll let him go. If this deal cannot be done, then he has two years left on his contract and will remain.

"There are many negotiations in progress. I don't want to name names. So wait 24 hours and then you'll know what happens."

On the 2-0 win, Commisso also said: "The lads had a great game, they gave it their all. That penalty awarded to them last week was fine, this penalty we received was fine, so we didn't steal anything.

"It is very important for us, we had good rewards from the Conference League last season. That was wonderful, we are very, very happy for the fans, the players, the coach and everyone."
